FISO releases the smallest fiber optic pressure sensor currently available for the medical market

On November 1st, FISO Technologies Canada recently released a fiber optic pressure sensor model FOP-M260. FISO is a subsidiary of Roctest Ltd, a manufacturer of high quality fiber optic sensors and measurement systems. This is the world's smallest commercially available fiber optic pressure sensor. Built on MOMS technology, the diameter is 260 microns, which is 50% smaller than the current FOP-MIV size. This advancement is of great significance and can be used to develop some newer applications, especially in the medical market. The new product will be released at the MD&M exhibition.

The FOP-M260 has good heat dissipation and stability is much better than previous models. By using white cavity interference technology, this technology is designed for challenging applications in defense, aerospace, and medicine. FISO customers are more comfortable with this technology.
